I want to buy a stand mixer for my cousin for X-mas because she really wants one and adores mine. But i don't have the money to buy a new 200 - 300 some dollar mixer. Anyone?

Hello. I've been scouring the web for quite a bit and have been unsuccessful in deternining which kitchenaid product is newer between the following: KSB560OB: http://www.walmart.com/ip/KitchenAid-5-Speed-Artisan-Series-Blender-Onyx-Black/15189355 KSB560WH: http://www.walmart.com/ip/KitchenAid-5-Speed-Artisan-Series-Blender-White/15189356 any help would be greatly appreciated, as in the maximum amount of points rewarded.

Stay away from KITCHEN AID. I have a green blender and the gear wheel that sits under the glass jar and spins the blades cracks more and more with each use. Ridiculous for a blender that has been used seldomly and looks brand new though I've had it for about 6 years. My stand mixer, also from Kitchen Aid, leaks gear oil with each use as well. Granted I do not use them daily or else who knows how long they would have lasted- maybe 2 years or so. I now use my 1970's OSTER blender with the brown and yellow buttons. This blender has way more mileage on it and shows no signs of breakdown anywhere. Does'nt look fancy on the counter but it is a workhorse.

I am remodeling my kitchen and FINALLY getting a KitchenAid mixer. What color? The rest of my appliances will be chrome. They have the regular chrome mixer (not metallic chrome) on another website. Well, tough luck because I have $350 rewards for Williams-Somona so I have to pick one of the colors below. NOT PINK. Please pick a color and tell a reason why you chose it. I would have to ask what color your decor would be in your re-model. Any of these colors would go with chrome but would they co-ordinate with your decor is the real question, lol!! I would truly stay with neutral colors that can fit into any kitchen, should you decide to re-paint, tile or paper in a couple of years. Personally, I am a big fan of black with chrome - it's safe, easy and never seems to go out of style, unless you have a "country" kitchen in which case I would opt for one of the blues!! I thought YOU were the guru of I.D, lol - I have enjoyed a lot of your answers - good luck and have fun with the re-model.
